About Nailgun Solutions
Nailgun Solutions is proudly owned and operated by Rick and Nikki Gibson.
After 18 years working in and managing a trade and power tool service shop, Rick set out to create something different—launching Nailgun Solutions with a focus on convenience and innovation through a fully mobile repair service.
What started as a single mobile workshop has grown into a fleet of three, allowing us to service customers right across the Lower North Island.
Rick brings over 20 years of hands-on experience repairing pneumatic tools, compressors, and all types of nailguns—both gas and pneumatic. He is also a specialist in tool sharpening and is known for his ability to diagnose faults quickly, often over the phone.
Nikki, a qualified accountant, manages the office operations and drives the business development side of the company.
Our Team
Gary – Manawatu Technician
Gary services the Manawatu and Wairarapa regions, supporting both our mobile operations and our Palmerston North and Levin-based workshop. With a background in prenail frame and truss manufacturing, he brings strong technical expertise and a customer-focused approach to every job.
Tyler – Wellington Technician
Based at our Wellington workshop, Tyler also works on the road alongside Rick and Gary. He is highly skilled across all types of nailguns and is developing strong expertise in Paslode tools.

Nailgun Solutions is an authorised repair agent for leading power tool brands including Paslode, Stockade, Senco, Makita, Hikoki, Ecko, DeWalt, Powers, Delfast, and Bostitch.
We operate two depots and one workshop to support nationwide repairs, with locations in Palmerston North, Levin, and Porirua.
